About
Bradley
Hello, my name is Bradley and I’m a therapist providing trauma-informed mental health and addiction counseling services throughout the State of Colorado. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the U.S. military and spent another 30 years in the business world working as a cybersecurity professional. In 2014, I experienced a profound personal shift that fundamentally changed every aspect of my life and have dedicated myself to service ever since. I began my path of service as a contemplative wisdom teacher, speaking passionately on the nature of mind and the nature of self, offering instruction in mindfulness, meditation, and self-inquiry practices. The more time I spent working with people though, the more I began to see the enormous impact that trauma has on us at both an individual and collective level. In 2018, I started working on a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling to help fill the gaps in my knowledge, understanding, and skillset, graduating in 2021.
Today, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and Addiction Counselor Candidate (ADDC) registered with the State of Colorado. I’m also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), Certified Anxiety Professional (CAIP), and Certified Life Coach (CLC). I provide in-person and telehealth services, throughout Colorado, to help my clients address issues and challenges relating to anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, along with a wide-variety of other common, co-occurring conditions and concerns. My clinical approach represents a combination of experientially-based contemplative and somatic interventions, merged with elements of neurobiology, psychophysiology, behaviorism, relational framing, nondual themes, and 3rd wave behavioral approaches, like ACT, DBT, IFS, CMT, MCT, MI, and Mindfulness-based CBT – which all have their origins in contemplative and somatic practice and are now evidence-based therapies for a variety of mental health conditions and concerns.
As a therapist, I’ve worked in private practice and community mental health settings, and in outpatient addiction treatment centers – always emphasizing trauma-informed care as a necessary function of the inner-healing process. In my personal life, I continue to write, share, and teach on contemplative, somatic, and nondual topics that can aid in facilitating transformative inner insights. I’m also actively engaged in PhD studies that emphasize humanistic and transpersonal approaches to clinical psychology, and am currently completing the Psilocybin Facilitator Training Certificate Program at Naropa University. I spend most of my remaining free time with my partner Lisa, who is also a therapist, her autistic son Evan, and our three cats. I tend to value silence, simplicity, peace, and kindness above all else, and lead a values-driven life of service that demonstrates a heart-felt desire to transform human suffering into wisdom, compassion, and loving-action in the world.
If I can help in any way, or be of service to you in your own journey of self-exploration, please just let me know.
